Can you tell us about your favorite getaway?
I have two favorite getaways: Acapulco, Mexico and Barbados.  I have been traveling to Acapulco since I was 5 months old and to Barbados since I was around 5 years old.  Acapulco is like a second home to me filled with gorgeous views, delicious food, and a vibrant culture.  Barbados is a relaxing island with warm clear blue water, the most insane sunsets, and welcoming locals.
Best trip you ever had for your health and fitness and what did you do?
The best trip I had for health and fitness was to Vancouver for the Women's World Cup.  I don't often travel for health and fitness, mostly for vacation or work...which is dance so I suppose it is technically fitness!  In Vancouver I cycled, practiced yoga, and went on a canoeing trip with Adidas and a group of incredible women.
Playlist go-tos?
My playlist is comically random!  I love all music so I have rap, reggaeton, and rock all in a row!
What kind of workout do you do?
My workouts mainly consist of dance and my Ballet Beach Body program, but I like pilates and yoga as well.
Why do you like it? What kind of strength is it important to have in order to be successful for the workout you do?
I love dancing because it makes me let go and just listen to the music and my body.  I don't even know I am working out!  I take a ballet class every morning and then will add heels, hip hop, contemporary, and jazz funk into the mix.  An all around, full body strength is important for dance because you use all of your muscles including your brain.
What should someone who is unfamiliar with the workout you do be prepared for when trying it for the first time?  Also any suggestion as to what you should wear.
Be prepared to have fun!  As for clothing, anything that makes you feel confident and comfortable while allowing the instructor (and yourself) to see the lines of your body.
How has the fitness scene in your area (country / city) changed these past few years?
I think the fitness scene has become more accessible to everyone especially because there are so many programs, including my Ballet Beach Body, online.
What’s a typical workout week like for you?
I workout at least 5 days a week with Saturday and Sunday as my days off!
What are your go-to workout shoes? Accessories? Gym bags?
For ballet, I use my capezio leather ballet slippers or my Grishko pointe shoes.  In hip hop I like to wear my Adidas UltraBoost shoes.
Favorite healthy eatery in your city?
My kitchen!  I love to cook!
Favorite healthy spots in your city?
There are so many healthy places in LA it is hard to decide...
Favorite healthy snack?
Peanut butter and a banana or apple.
Guilty pleasure?
Dessert...I love to bake cakes, name it!
Favorite pre and post workout snack?
I like to keep it light...eggs in the morning!
What a fitness myth that drives you crazy?
I think more people need to know that what you put into your body is more important than your workout.  If you are filling your body with brownies or treats all the time you won't see the results you are looking for.
If we looked in your fridge, what would we always find?
Coffee beans!!
If we looked in your gym bag, what would we always find?
Toe tape, ballet slippers, and stray bobby pins!
How does maintaining a healthy lifestyle effect your everyday life in a positive way?
My lifestyle is a healthy one.  Setting goals, staying on track, and staying fit keep me motivated in my everyday life.
