“A Nambu Tekki cast iron trivet designed and forged by one Japan’s most renowned iron craftsmen.”
This cast iron trivet is made in the Nambu Tekki style – a Japanese tradition dating back to the 17th century. The trivet was designed and forged by craftsman Nobuho Miya. Miya works in his family’s ironware studio, Kamasada, in the Iwate prefecture of Japan. With more than forty years of experience, he practices traditional Nambu techniques and he is considered one of the living masters of this ancient art.
